Наредни састанак Семинара биће одржан онлајн у среду, 12. новембра 2025. са почетком у 19 часова.
Предавач: Radu-Emil Precup, Department of Automation and Applied Informatics, Politehnica University of Timisoara, Romania; Center for Fundamental and Advanced Technical Research, Romanian Academy – Timisoara Branch, Romania
Наслов предавања: EVOLVING FUZZY MODELS AND APPLICATIONS OF THE PROCESS CONTROL GROUP OF THE POLITEHNICA UNIVERSITY OF TIMISOARA
Апстракт:
Evolving fuzzy models, as introduced by Angelov in 2001 and 2002, feature continuous online learning of rule bases in Mamdani or Takagi-Sugeno-Kang forms. Online identification algorithms update parameters by adding or removing „local“ models. Classification by Dovžan et al. (2015) includes: (i) adaptive algorithms, using initial structures from Takagi-Sugeno-Kang models, (ii) incremental algorithms, with adding mechanisms, and (iii) evolving algorithms, incorporating adding, removing, merging, and splitting mechanisms.
These algorithms explain nonlinear system behaviors for accurate modeling and control design. The Process Control Group at Politehnica University of Timisoara focuses on evolving fuzzy models for fuzzy controller design. Their presentation highlights applications in pendulum-crane systems, prosthetic hand myoelectric-based control, magnetic levitation systems, Anti-lock Braking Systems, vehicles with continuously variable transmission systems, and shape memory alloy wire actuators, validated by experiments and simulations.
This work was supported by a grant of the Romanian Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitization, CNCS/CCCDI – UEFISCDI, project number ERANET-ENUAC-e-MATS, within PNCDI IV.
