Due to the great success of the previous eight SimLab courses on Parallel Numerical Simulation in 2002, 2003, and 2006 in Belgrade, 2004, 2005, and 2007 in Bitola, and 2008, 2009 in Cluj, this year again we organize the ninth one in Belgrade, Serbia, from October 3-9th (scheduled).

Faculty of mathematics in Belgrade and the Astronomical Observatory in Belgrade organized the third international school in astronomy: Astroinformatika - virtual observatories, which will be held from 29.06. to 01.07. 2010th in Belgrade. Her students are students with doctoral and master studies of universities in Serbia and other universities in the territory of former Yugoslavia. Lecturers in the School are recognized experts from domestic and foreign institutions with which the Faculty of Mathematics and Astronomical Observatory have cooperation. Lectures may be in blocks of 45 minutes or 90 minutes.

On Friday and Saturday 29 and 30 January 2010. at the Faculty of Mathematics there will be held International Scientific Conference "COST Action IC0901 WG1 and WG2 Meeting and Third Workshop on Formal and Automated TheoremProving and Applications. There will be about 40 participants from 11 countries at the meeting and there will be held a series of lectures on automatic reasoning, formal and automated theorem proving and application.
